One may conclude that our english is KANASAI..but actually its simple,short,concise,straight to the point,effective etc. (: ( just skip this next time. lol )
When you want to end a call.
British: Hey Mrs Tan,I am really sorry but i have to put down the phone now
as i am preparing dinner right now.
SG: Eh paiseh,very busy. ttyl [talk to you later.]
When you wish that something would happen.
British: Oh man!!God,please make miracle happen.Please!
SG: Tolong la Tolong!!
When you request for something.
British: Mummy,can you please buy this for me?I have been
waiting it for centuries !
SG: Eh Mummy,liar liar pepsi fire sia,you say want help me buy de.
When you scold someone.
British: Hey you imbecile toad!You are really pissing me off.ARGH!
i just totally can't stand your attitude!
SG: kanasai! limpei buay song la!! *** ** *** [you guys should know..]
When the teacher asks you a question.
British: Yeah,its 1+1 = 2 the next step is 2x2=4 and add the 2 together with 4
which makes the answer 6 :D
SG: Student: Ermhh...
Teacher : yeah,question 2
Student: Orh..er. 1+1
Teacher: Ok..next step
Student: HUH?! must continue?! don't want la ):
When you request someone to place something there:
British: Hey,would you mind if you place my erase back there
after you use it?Thanks.
